The Institute on Intellectual Disability is the research and publishing arm of the National Council on Intellectual disability. The Institute's mission is to make information available to people with intellectual disability, their families and service providers in cost effective formats.

Service
NCID’s Information Service is available to individuals working or studying
in the area of intellectual disability, parents, organisations and libraries.
We have designed it to keep you up to date on current issues and activities,
to provide information on available publications, and to assist in locating
information which may be difficult to obtain. This service costs $150
per year to individuals and $165.00 (GST inclusive) to organisations.
Information subscribers can also obtain the NCID Information Service via a pdf download from this site. This is know as NCID's e-Information Service which in addition to the regular Information Service offers subscribers access to a growing range of information.

Interaction
• Interaction is a multidisciplinary journal published by NCID devoted
to promoting quality services by increasing the availability of information.
• Interaction keeps you up to date on issues affecting the lives of people
with intellectual disabilities and their families.
• Interaction, as the journal focusing solely on Intellectual Disability
issues in Australia, has a wide circulation both within Australia and
overseas.
• Interaction costs $35.00 for a 12 month subscription (4 issues).
•e- Interaction is available online for $20.00 or free if purchased
with hard copy. (Email address needs to be supplied so a password can
be issued)
• Multiple subscriptions for organisations can be arranged.
